To inculcate leadership qualities in students and to give them the feel of the functioning of an administrative body, a school cabinet was formed at N. L. Dalmia High School. Following this an Investiture Ceremony was held where the student body was conferred upon with sashes and badges by the Chief Guest, Lt. Cdr. Sunil Kumar Singh, a symbolic representation of handing over the responsibility to the new council members.
The Chief Guest addressed the students by telling them to be good leaders and shoulder responsibilities efficiently. The CEO and Principal, Mrs. Seema Saini, in her address enlightened the students to allude by the qualities of a true leader and keep the banner of N. L. Dalmia High School flying high.
With a firm belief in the adage, N L Dalmia High School encourages the functioning of a student administrative body to create exemplary with accentuated moral values leaders. The Investiture Ceremony was conducted with immense zeal and excitement on Wednesday, 12th of April 2017.
It was indeed a privilege to have the renowned educationist, Dr. D.P.N. Prasad, as our Chief Guest. The ceremony was inaugurated with the lighting of the lamp by our honorable Chief Guest and our respected principal ma’am. This was followed by the school prayer and a melodious welcome song by our school choir. As a part of our school ritual, the students evoked the blessings of Lord Ganesha, through a mesmerizing dance performance. The audience was truly enthralled to witness such a captivating performance by our dancers.
The CEO & Principal Ms. Seema Saini welcomed the Chief Guest with a token of appreciation and gratitude. She addressed the gathering with inspiring words, about their new role and responsibilities. Our Chief Guest who motivated the students to aspire for great things in life and yet remain grounded. He also highlighted the importance of self-discipline and its impacts on a student’s life. This was followed by the swearing-in ceremony of the new council members led by the Chief Guest and our principal ma’am. The newly elected Head Boy/Head Girl, Captains, Vice Captains and Prefects and Junior Council Members were presented with sashes, badges and duty scrolls. Each House Mistress was also felicitated by our principal ma’am.
The ceremony concluded with the vote of thanks to acknowledge the efforts of the team.
