The 77th Republic Day of India was celebrated with great pride, enthusiasm, and patriotic fervour at N. L. Dalmia High School on Monday, 26th January 2026. The School campus resonated with the spirit of unity, discipline, and national pride as students from various sections gathered to commemorate the historic day when India adopted its Constitution.

The celebration commenced on a dignified note with a Guard of Honour, followed by the flag hoisting by the respected CEO and Principal, Dr. Seema Saini. As the Tricolour was unfurled, the gathering stood in reverence for the National Anthem, reaffirming respect and commitment towards the nation.

The March Past, a proud and integral part of the celebration, served as a powerful salute to the Indian National Flag by the school’s four houses—Agni, Jal, Prithvi, and Vayu. With disciplined steps, synchronized movements, and unwavering focus, the students displayed unity, respect, and allegiance to the nation. The formation reflected the values of teamwork, commitment, and national pride that lie at the heart of the Republic.

In her inspiring address, Dr. Seema Saini, CEO and Principal, spoke about the significance of this year’s Republic Day theme – “Green Growth and Digital India”. Her speech highlighted the need for a balanced approach to sustainable development and digital progress. She encouraged students to uphold the constitutional values of Justice, Liberty, Equality, and Fraternity, while evolving into environmentally responsible and digitally empowered citizens. The address effectively connected India’s rich democratic heritage with its vision for a progressive and self-reliant future.

The cultural programme that followed was a vibrant reflection of India’s diversity and talent. A melodious patriotic song by the Primary Section, speeches in English, Hindi, and Marathi, and captivating dance performances by students from the school, degree college, and management institute showcased the spirit of patriotism and cultural harmony. The speeches were aligned with this year’s theme and highlighted India’s achievements, growth, and aspirations, particularly in the field of sports and nation-building.

A special highlight of the programme was the outstanding poetry recitation titled ‘Swaraj’, which captivated the audience with its powerful expression of freedom, sacrifice, and national pride, leaving a lasting impression. Equally heart-warming was a speech by a tiny tot from the Pre-Primary section, who confidently spoke about India’s outstanding achievements in sports, earning warm applause from the audience.

A moment of social responsibility was marked with the National Road Safety Pledge, reminding everyone of their role in ensuring safer roads and responsible citizenship. The programme also featured an elegant Bharatanatyam performance, blending classical tradition with contemporary relevance.

The celebration concluded with a heartfelt Vote of Thanks proposed by the School Vice-Captain, expressing gratitude to the dignitaries, teachers, students, and support staff for their collective efforts in making the event a grand success.

The Republic Day celebration at N. L. Dalmia High School was not merely a ceremonial observance but a meaningful reminder of India’s journey from struggle to strength. N. L. Dalmia High School celebrated the 76th Republic Day with great enthusiasm and patriotic fervor. The event commenced with the arrival of distinguished guests, followed by a Guard of Honour presented by the School’s student council. The national flag was unfurled by Dr. Seema Saini, CEO & Principal, as the gathering proudly sang the National Anthem, honoring the nation’s legacy. In her thought-provoking address, Dr. Saini emphasized the essence of Republic Day, encouraging students to embody unity, discipline, and national responsibility in their daily lives.

The celebrations unfolded with a dynamic cultural program that encapsulated the patriotic spirit of the students. The Primary Section choir set the tone with the rousing song “Sath Chale Hum Sath Rahe Hum,” followed by an English speech delivered by Ms. Aditri Yadav (Sr. Kg E), where she eloquently expressed the importance of Republic Day. The NLDC College students captivated the audience with a synchronized Kathak-inspired patriotic dance, titled “Bharat Anokha Raag Hai – Vande Mataram in Rhythm and Spirit,” embodying the nation’s cultural heritage.

Adding a literary dimension to the event, Ms. Prachi Raghuwanshi (PGDM Finance, 2024-26, NLDIMSR) delivered an evocative Hindi poem, “अनसुनी गूँज गणतंत्र की,” highlighting the values of democracy and national integrity. Mst. Meet Bhandari (V B) from the Primary Section followed with a Hindi speech, delivering a compelling message on India’s constitutional journey.

The musical segment featured a soul-stirring medley of patriotic songs performed by NLDIMSR students. Archit Sawant (PGDM Marketing, 2024-26) enthralled the audience with his heartfelt renditions of “Lahra Do, O meri jamin …” and “Desh Mere O Desh Mere…Meri Jaan Hai Tu,” accompanied by Andrew James on the Casio, creating a deeply emotional moment.

Furthering the linguistic diversity of the event, Ms. Yati Joshi (IX D) delivered a Marathi speech, reflecting on Maharashtra’s rich cultural contribution to India’s independence and development. A significant moment in the ceremony was the administration of the Kushtharog Pledge by Ms. Durga Oak, received from MBMC, reinforcing the community’s commitment to eradicating leprosy and fighting social stigma.

The Middle Section students then took the stage for a high-energy patriotic dance performance on “Taaron Ko Choome Tiranga, Azad Rahe Abad Rahe Tiranga,” showcasing their passion for the nation through movement and expression.

The event concluded on the note of gratitude expressed by the School Captain, Ananya Chauhan.

The 76th Republic Day celebration at N. L. Dalmia High School was a true embodiment of patriotism, discipline, and national pride, reinforcing the values enshrined in the Indian Constitution and instilling a profound sense of duty and respect among students.

N. L. Dalmia High School celebrated the 75th Republic Day of India with much fervour and zest echoing the themes ‘Visit Bharat’ and ‘Bharat – Loktantra ki Matruka’ for the year.

The programme commenced by welcoming the chief guests Dr. Maqsood Ahmed Khan, Director N. L. Dalmia Management Studies and Research and Dr. Ganesh Pawar, Principal N. L. Dalmia Degree College with a guard of honour followed by flag hoisting at the beat of the National Anthem. The sight of the tricolour flying high filled the air with a sense of unity and solidarity. A pledge to maintain India a leprosy free nation was undertaken by all, which was followed by a crisp and synchronized march past well-coordinated with the school band by all the four houses. Dr. Maqsood’s addressal inspired and encouraged the students to stand united for the nation.

A cultural programme unfolded, showcasing India’s rich heritage and diversity. The soulful renditions of the patriotic songs, energetic dance performances, inspirational, eloquent and articulate speeches by the students from Pre-primary to Management studies and the Degree College reflecting patriotic adoration left everyone teary eyed and hearts brimming with the reverence for our ‘Maa Bharati’.

The celebrations concluded with a vote of thanks by School Vice – Captain, Miss. Ananya Chauhan. The day indeed served as an occasion of reflection, remembrance, and inspiration, leaving an indelible mark on the hearts and minds of all present.

N. L. Dalmia High School celebrated the 74th Republic Day with much grandeur and enthusiasm. The programme commenced with the unfurling of our Tricolour by Dr. Seema Saini, CEO and Principal of N. L. Dalmia Educational Society. Dr. M. A Khan, Director of N. L. Dalmia Institute of Management Studies and Research and Dr. Ganesh Pawar, Principal of N. L. Dalmia Degree College also graced the occasion with their august presence.

Following the unfurling of the flag, a much synchronised and coordinated March Past by the cadets of different houses adorned the ceremony.

Patriotic songs and dances have always boosted our morale, strengthened our resolves, and restored pride in who we are, and what we represent, as a great nation. Students of the School as well as the Degree College presented beautiful feet-tapping performances adding much charm to the celebration. The sheer enthusiasm and conviction with which students delivered Republic Day Speeches in different languages lifted the patriotic spirit in everyone!

The entire N. L. Dalmia Family came together to celebrate this historical day.

The programme ended with an expression of gratitude by the School Vice-Captain, Mst. Bhargav Sen Bhowmik.
