The CISCE Zonal Level T20 Cricket Tournament 2026 – Zone B, hosted by N. L. Dalmia High School (MA129) at the legendary Oval Maidan, Churchgate, concluded successfully after 9 thrilling days of competitive cricket action!
From breath-taking boundaries to disciplined bowling spells, the tournament showcased the true essence of sportsmanship, resilience, teamwork, determination and competitive spirit. Despite challenging weather conditions, revised schedules, and limited pitch availability, more than 50+ school teams across Under-14, Under-17 and Under-19 categories participated with unmatched enthusiasm and passion for the game.

The CISCE T20 Zonal and Regional Cricket Tournament, the annual event organized by the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) has been hosted by N. L. Dalmia High School for the 9 consecutive year. The tournament is designed to promote cricket among school students and provide them with a platform to showcase their talent. The tournament was played in a T20 format and witnessed participation from a large number of schools across Maharashtra. The CISCE T20 Zonal and Regional Cricket 2023 tournament promises to be an exciting event for cricket enthusiasts across Maharashtra. The tournament was open to boys under the age categories of U-14, U-17 and U-19. Total 113 matches were held throughout the tournament.
Mr. Dinesh Lad, the Dronacharya Awardee, the cricket coach who has mentored Indian cricket stars Rohit Sharma and Shardul Thakur was the chief guest of the much awaited cricket tournament. Mrs Parin Bagli – Secretary, AISM, Mr. Shailesh Dalmia – Hon. Secretary and Mr. Mudit Dalmia – Vice President of N. L. Dalmia Educational Society were the Guest of Honours. The Opening Ceremony commenced on Monday, 17th April, 2023 at Oval Ground, Churchgate. Thereafter the Qualifying Rounds / Quarter Finals and Semi-finals were scheduled on 17th to 26th April 2023 at the Oval Ground. The Closing Ceremony was held on Thursday, 27th April 2023 at Mumbai Police Gymkhana, Marine Lines. This was followed by final matches of all 3 categories, and prize distribution.
