Athena - An Interschool Event

The Flagship event of the School, ATHENA 2017 flagged off with great enthusiasm and fervour on 4th Nov amidst huge crowd of students across Mumbai Schools.
The spectacular opening ceremony began with the Lady Athena welcoming everyone, followed by a welcome dance and addressal by the principal. She declared the event opened and wished luck to all the participants. She also emphasised on the importance of the two-day event and the bonding it promotes in the student fraternity.
The first day of this mega event was a journey presenting a range of highly entertaining and captivating events spanning a broad spectrum of activities like sports, creative writing, graffiti painting, advertisements, Singing, dancing, computer programming, movie making and many more.
These activities continued on the second day where the participants enjoyed activities like 360 street dance challenge, collage making, tug of war and kabaddi. The crowning glory of these events was Master and Miss Athena.
N.L Dalmia was indeed proud and honoured to have on board eminent judges to judge the competitions. Elegance – Master and Miss Athena was judged by Mr. Kunal Singh,a renowned television celebrity and Miss SampadaGarg,Miss Femina India and Bombay Times Finalist for Fresh Face 2015.
Athena– the two-day extravaganza was on an amalgamation of talent, innovation, and inspiration. It proved to be an apt stage for exhibiting creativity and talent. It aimed at providing the right environment to nurture holistic development of the students in an awe-inspiring and attractive avenue.
In all, Athena 2017 was truly a profoundly motivating and electrifyingly entertaining event.
