Prize Distribution Ceremony 2025
“Success means having the courage, the determination, and the will to become the person you believe you were meant to be!” This ethos echoed through the auditorium of N. L. Dalmia High School, as we celebrated our annual Prize Distribution Ceremony, a vibrant event recognizing the hard work and dedication of our students.
The event commenced with a majestic Guard of Honour, followed by the traditional lighting of the ceremonial lamp by the dignitaries, the Chief Guest

The ceremony proceeded to recognize students’ outstanding achievements across various academic and co-curricular fields. CISCE Certificate of Merit were presented to 39 students of the School who were in the 0.1% of the ICSE Board Examination Nationwide. Certificates and Awards were presented to commend the academic excellence, embodying the spirit of assiduity and commitment.
The highlight of the evening was the insightful address by the Chief Guest, Mr. Radhabinod Aribam Sharma (IAS), Commissioner and Administrator, Mira Bhayandar Municipal Corporation, where he set an inspiring tone for the event, focusing on the power of persistence and self-improvement.
In his motivational speech, the Commissioner emphasized on the core values encapsulated in the acronym ‘SHAKTI’ (Sanskrit for power/strength), urging students to internalize these principles for lifelong success where:
S stood for Self-Belief: The fundamental conviction in one’s own abilities.
H stood for Hard Work: The relentless effort required to achieve excellence.
A stood for Ambition: The drive to set high goals and strive for them.
K stood for Knowledge: The continuous pursuit of learning and information.
T stood for Trust: Building credibility and reliability in all dealings and
I stood for Integrity: Upholding strong moral principles and honesty.
Furthermore, he stressed on the importance of a ‘never give up attitude’ and consistency in efforts, encouraging students to view challenges not as roadblocks but as opportunities for growth and resilience. His words resonated deeply with the audience of young achievers and their parents as well.
The event concluded with the formal honouring of the Chief Guest and a Vote of Thanks proposed by the School captain followed by the National Anthem.
The Prize Distribution Ceremony 2025 truly embodied the spirit of the School’s philosophy — to celebrate effort, honour excellence, and inspire every learner to reach greater heights. It was an evening that not only recognized achievement but also ignited motivation and hope for brighter futures ahead.
The ANNUAL PRIZE DISTRIBUTION CEREMONY was held on 19th August, 2017. The meritorious students of our school were felicitated by the Chief Guest Mr. Madhukar Pandey (IPS) and Guest of Honour Mrs. Swati Pandey (IAS).
The programme commenced with the lighting of the lamp. It was followed by a welcome song by the school choir. The CEO and Principal Ms. Seema Saini addressed the proud achievers and their parents. This was followed by the prize distribution in which the academic achievers were felicitated with applause. Prizes were also given for the best exhibits and the best classes from primary, secondary and senior secondary classes for the ‘Nirmaan- Annual Art, Craft and Science Exhibition’. Trophies were awarded for the various inter-house competitions like dramatics, debate, quiz, etc. This year the Best House Trophy was bagged by Jal and Vayu House. Later, Mr. Madhukar Pandey addressed the august gathering with encouraging and motivating words.
The ceremony concluded with a formal vote of thanks given by the school captain Ms. Monisha Verma.
