N. L. Dalmia High School, one of the top ICSE Schools in the country has fostered a vast network through its alumni. Over a decade the Ex-students Association of NLDHS, called DESA, has been continuously working to strengthen relations between the ex-students community and the school. Today, alumni relations are an important part of an institution’s advancement activities.  The purpose of DESA is to foster a spirit of loyalty and to promote the vision and mission of the school. In a nutshell, our alumni (DESA) are our international ambassadors.

DESA MEET 2025

The annual Alumni Meet was conducted on 20th December 2025, in a warm and dignified ambience of the School Auditorium, bringing together senior and younger alumni along with faculties on a common platform of pride, gratitude and shared memories.  The program was organized to strengthen the enduring bond between the institution and its former students.

The event commenced with an invocation dance invoking divine blessings which was followed by a vibrant cultural program presented by the younger alumni, featuring graceful dance performances and an orchestral presentation which added colour and energy to the occasion.

Senior alumni were formally honoured in recognition of their outstanding professional achievements and exemplary contributions to society.  During the interactions, they fondly reminisced about their School days and shared nostalgic moments that reflected the values and holistic education imparted by the institution.  They also assured their continued association with their Almamater and expressed their delight to connect with, guide and mentor the younger ones.

The Principal addressed the gathering, underscoring the importance of alumni engagement in sustaining the institutions legacy and vision.  On this occasion, the Principal formally released the Alumni Flip Book, a compilation of alumni info and achievements.

During the program, an announcement was made regarding the forthcoming Alumni Meet in London, to be organized in collaboration with the alumni of the Management institute.  This initiative was warmly received and reflected the institutions expanding global alumni network and continued commitment to meaningful engagement across borders.

The Alumni Meet stood as a meaningful celebration of achievement, mentorship and life association.

DESA MEET 2023

“No matter where life takes us, our roots remain strong, and our alma mater will forever be our guiding light.”

The alumni meet was a vibrant gathering, rekindling memories and fostering new connections.

N. L. Dalmia High School organized its annual DESA Meet on 23rd December, 2023.

The event showcased the enduring bond among alumni, emphasizing the impact of their collective journey beyond the campus. It was a homecoming for almost 250 students reminiscing, reconnecting and reigniting the fire within.

The CEO and Principal Dr. Seema Saini addressed the alumni and appreciated them for their presence. She was elated and was extremely proud as she shared the achievements of the alumni in different fields and creating ripples of inspiration across the world. The alumni were exhilarated and thrilled to listen to Annie ma’am who expressed her joy to continue the tradition of Alumni Meet to reminisce the precious memories of the alma-mater.

The proud alumni Mitesh Chalmela, Lloyd Michael and Rahul Agarwal presented the annual report of their activities.  On the call of their alma-mater the alumni association took an initiative to carry forward our policy of giving back to the society by conducting various MSR activities.  The Blood Donation Drive that they conduct on Martyrs Day is an annual feature of the alumni association.

The atmosphere was filled with laughter, joy, and a sense of camaraderie as old friends caught up and new connections were forged. The event featured inspiring success stories from accomplished alumni, highlighting the diverse paths taken after graduation. It was a testament to the enduring strength of our alumni community, showcasing the bond that transcends time and distance. As we exchanged memories and celebrated each other’s achievements, it became clear that the spirit of our alma mater continues to thrive through the shared experiences of these alumni.

DESA MEET 2022

A blend of past and present creates an ambience of eternal fraternity and cohesiveness that gives a lot of value to all.

N. L. Dalmia High School organized its annual DESA Meet from 25th to 28th December, 2022 through online as well as offline platform.

The alumni re-lived the golden memories of their journey through the Alma Mater.

The presence of the alumni in the online DESA meet from across the globe was a testimony to the fact that DESA is the most ardently awaited event. This nostalgic review was graced by alumni from USA, Germany, Australia, London, Canada, New Zealand, Delhi, Lucknow and so on. It’s a matter of great pride that the alumni is holding positions of responsibilities in different organizations.

The CEO and Principal Dr. Seema Saini addressed the alumni and appreciated them for the multiple roles played by them, as many of them hold positions of major influence in the society. She urged them to extend support to their juniors and revive the bonds with their peers and the School.

The meet ended with a promise to meet again and everyone bid emotional farewell to each other and their beloved Alma Mater.

Blood Donation Drive by DESA

‘A martyr dies not when he is shot but when he is forgotten’.
To pay reverent tribute to the martyrs of 26/11 the Alumni of N. L. Dalmia High School organised a Blood Donation Drive on 26/11/2022. The response was overwhelming. 101 donors including parents, faculty, admin staff, security and alumni made the event a grand success. The senior police officer of Kashimira police station Sanjay Hazare sir’s visit and his message to the alumni was very inspiring and motivational. The alumni expressed their sincere gratitude to the Principal and CEO Dr. Seema Saini ma’am who guided and supported them and the Rajiv Gandhi Blood Bank that conducted this event at the N. L. Dalmia Campus.

DESA MEET 2018

DESA 2017

The DESA meet scheduled this year was a double bonanza as the school had also planned to host the Carnival on the same day i. e. 23rd December just before breaking off for the Christmas vacation. The purpose of this double bonanza was to involve our alumni in our MSR endeavor–Carnival – A Funfair, the proceeds of which were donated to the Terryfox committee to support the cancer patients. The event was a huge success.

The DESA Meet held on 18th December in the school premises witnessed the active involvement of the alumni. It ended with the exchange of contact details and a promise of ensuring great bonding for future.
