Monthly News Letter
For students with writing skills, our newsletter is an exciting, interesting and involving monthly event! This newsletter named ‘Sanskriti’ consists of School happenings, articles, poems, jokes and puzzles contributed by the students. The students themselves form the editorial board! The June 2012 edition of ‘Sanskriti’ was the 100th issue of the magazine.
The purpose of bringing out the Year Book is to endorse the creative talent of the child and provide a space for him where he finds expression to his original, unadulterated thoughts. The laurels and distinctions attained by our children have also been brought into focus in this book. The Year Book intends to be a bridge between the Parent and the School and develop a stronger bond.
Aptitude Based Competitions
Besides these, the School regularly conducts aptitude based competitions such as debates, quiz, elocutions (in Hindi, English and Marathi), word building, drawing, theatre, story telling, singing, art, poetry writing, vegetable painting etc. Our writers spin word webs, our painters get their hands (and faces, clothes, bags etc) dipped in paint, our singers sing melodious musical chart and our poets recite Shakespeare!
Co-Scholastic and Extra Scholastic Activities
The present education curriculum demands excellence not only in Academics but also in Sports and Cultural activities. Under a well-designed plan the School has reserved the Saturdays for conducting hobby courses that boost the physical, mental, emotional and spiritual health of the students. Selecting from a wide range of activities below, we have already initiated.
- Speech & Drama
- Handwriting Improvement Workshop
- Western classical music
- Sketching & Painting
- Table Tennis
- Model United Nations
Several other initiatives and activities are also underway. These activities are conducted by professionals and we hope to get a sustained growth and result at the end of the day.
